Project architecture
Several factors influenced the project’s architecture. The first one is location. The house is located on the verge of a cliff, near the Volga River. The house was designed in such a way that all the key rooms would have a stunning view.
The second factor is different ceiling levels in the rooms. The living room ceiling turned out to be higher than in the dining room, and the veranda ceiling is higher than the bedroom ceiling.
This decision was made to create a more comfortable atmosphere, and it has also affected the architecture, making the plastic figures of the facade noticeable.

Мы смогли обеспечить нестандартные планировочные решения благодаря сложному конструктиву. Каждый этаж не связан со следующим несущими стенами или колоннами. Их оси и железобетонные конструкции не совпадают.

Layout
In terms of layout, we had thoroughly worked everything out. Thus, even in such an enormous house, where all the rooms are connected with one roof, it would be convenient to reach every needed space.
The garage is joined with an entrance hall, a dressing room, a boiler room, a mechanical room and a storage room can be accessed from there. Next comes the SPA block with a hammam, a sauna, a shower room and a lounge with a swimming pool.

All the house key places are surrounded by a terrace. A living room with a kitchen and a separate veranda, a residential wing can be accessed from that terrace.
The residential area is separated from the rest of the house by a hall and an additional internal terrace in the master bedroom. The latter is located in a niche, thus, the master bedroom remains unnoticed.

Project features
Working with a unique area, we managed to show its advantages and smooth the disadvantages. Hence, for instance, in order to avoid pressure on the ground, we designed a strip foundation with a wide pad.
Despite the fact that the house area is almost 600 sq. m., it is very densely arranged because of the large number of functional rooms. We have managed to efficiently use every square meter without making the space too cramped or empty.

Author’s word
We had taken into consideration all the client’s wishes and preferences, and designed a modern one-storied house, having used all site’s advantages. As a result, we have a unique project in an amazing place, on the river bank.
