One of the most challenging parts of the project was the engineering task of choosing the optimal foundation structure for the existing foundation in order to reduce the overload on the soil and minimize shrinkage.
Concept
We have designed a comfortable, modern and stylish home. At the same time, we didn't change the style of the previous structure much. For example, we repeated the classic design of the pitched roof.

For the reconstruction of the facade, we offered modern classical materials - glass, heat-treated wood, and a few options of taste: natural stone, dark travertine, slate or designer panels made of textured concrete painted with oil.

From the Author
House renovation is always a challenging task for an architect. We were able to expand the area of the house by adding additional living quarters and other functional units while optimizing shrinkage and soil overload.
We successfully located recreational areas, and added a pond and a fireplace without ruining the integrity of the house. The project has become an excellent example of symbiosis of comfortable living and immersion with nature.
